Angela Schader says:

Thank you very much for this instructive video. I have one question, however: On the Hovalin website, the printing time for all parts totals 26 hours – 9 for the neck, 6 for the upper bout, 4 for the middle section, 7 for the lower bout. The time you required for printing the “wooden” violin comes to 84 hours. Is this due to the special structure of the violin? Or do the Hovas have a printer which works at higher speed? And was the time required to print the blue and the golden violin about the same?

I’d be grateful for your reply!

Bluelight Gaming says:

I’m confused. What exactly is $600 and all those prices you named when you can print it for the cost of the filament, strings, and bow?

bcdhifi says:

$600.00? for that money I can get a traditional acoustic violin that sounds superior. These designs are not for acoustic violins, electric yes.

Hey if i may ask how much does it weigh ? Great video btw

Poles Apart says:

nice.. but it would be more impressive if it had a scroll

Nerys says:

its amazing that they actually sound different. the blue and gold sound crisper but the wood fill one sounds a bit warmer. fascinating.

AkwadTypo YT says:

Looks like a baroque violin because of the short fingerboard

Blues251 says:

Great fiddling!! I recognized the second one, it’s the Lonesome Moonlight Waltz. What were the other ones?

Jinxed Slayer says:

hi i was planning on printing one of these.. i was wondering what glue i should use to hold the pieces together?

JgHaverty says:

Why do they sound different? O.o

zigzagbigbag says:

Why so expensive? I can buy a 3d printer for that price download the file and print my own.

feralferret says:

Do traditional violins also sound that harsh?

Kurisu Chan says:

I don’t have too much experience with the violin, but the sound of your Hovalin kinda reminds me of an electric violin. Pretty impressive though, I want one of those.
