Can you rip that red card on the pegs

Paz Belén Adasme says:

Hi! I was wondering if you could recommend a violin for my “level”, I’m not a beginner or professional, I’m at an intermediate level. It would be great if you could help me

SongHanEulzz says:

Your Violin Review Playlist is not working anymore. :3

Thébaïde says:

Bought it. Thank you for this review.

john cena says:

So I’ve understood that the violin itself is good , but what about the accessories that came with it ? The bow , rosin , tuner , strings , are they good ?

Nocturnal Snake says:

how are the Cecilio compared to Gligas?

MrStig91 says:

I intend on ordering this violin, I’m a total beginner, never even picked one up before. Some of the reviews on amazon say you need to have this violin professionally set up after receiving. Did you have to get this one set up or did it come basically perfect out of the box?

Hani Yukumi says:

can I buy this for beginner?

mr Panda says:

I wonder if chinas violin makers are watching XD

Chloe Duvak says:

I have been interested in playing the violin for a while and I’m quite experienced with instruments because I have played the Guitar for 7+ years, Piano, and quite a few other instruments. The two types of violins I’m interested in is this one and the Stentor 1500. I really want the Stentor but I don’t know if I should spend so much money on it and then just not end up playing it at all. I’m so torn between which to invest in. Can you let me know your opinion on which to buy?

Smoothie Cris says:

I started playing violin in 4th grade and I played for 3 years fill I switched states and there was no more Orchestra. I guess I was pretty good cause I advance quickly and I didn’t rely on tapes and such. I genuinely liked playing. It’s been 5 years and I wanna start again would you recommend this? I haven’t found any reliable music shops in my area

Harry's Gaming Life says:

I’m going for Grade 5 LCM exam next month, i need an upgrade from my fiddle. Is the Cecilio CVN-300 or Stentor II (1500 ) enough? if yes which is a better buy? i am alright with the price of the 2 violins above. if the 2 violins above are not enough for a grade 5 LCM standard, then what other violins would you recomend? thank you

Laura M says:

I have a great idea for every review u do on a violin. you can give it away! People can save money! please consider this option

Star Gazer says:

Hello! I’ve been interested in taking violin lessons for a really long time, and finally there is a chance I might be able to now. I have watched several videos in your channel in order to know a little about the violin before I start playing and I think that I might buy the Cecilio CVN 300. I found that the CVN 300 can come in different colors, which I quite liked but, I’m worried from the reviews that because it is a colored violin the sound quality is really bad even for a beginner. Even though they are the same version would color versions be of different quality from the one you are reviewing in this video?

Caress Tolentino says:

Thank you for all your amazing reviews! I am planning to purchase my very first violin and I am torn between cicilio cvn 300 and Stentor II. What do you think is the better option? Thank you very much!

Milind Rathod says:

Do you think that hofner AS 160 4/4 is a good violin for beginner-intermediate player?

Beau Jones says:

Hello Alison! I am thinking about upgrading my violin. I am about a grade 3, what instrument do you believe would best suit an advancing player out of the Cecilio and Mendini range? I was thinking either the MV500 or CVN300, but that’s just my opinion. What’s your opinion on the violin I should buy?

Calli Wallace says:

Did you buy this violin off of amazon? Or did you buy it in store? Thank you!

Ashley R says:

I am beginner and I just bought this violin I’ll be watching all your videos!

Whimsy Wonders says:

I don’t know if it’s just me, but the violin sounded a bit out of tune at some points.

Rou Rou says:

may i ask which one of the violins has a really good sound and is good for beginners ?

James David Walley says:

I got one of these a couple of months ago to learn on. Generally, I’m quite happy, but I have a concern with the Prelude strings you seem to like so much. I find that the A and E sound fine, but the D and G are a different matter. Going from the A to the D, for example, I find the time changes completely — it’s not only lower in pitch (of course!), but also sounds flabbier and tubbier. It also seems “looser,” in that increasing or decreasing the pressure on the bow stroke changes the note’s pitch as well as its (expected) volume. The G is similar. Is this discrepancy in tone between the high and low strings typical of Preludes, or did my CVN 300 come with a defective set (or, God forbid, did the factory fit it with generic Cecilio/Mendini strings by mistake)? And, if that discrepancy IS typical, can you mention some reasonably-priced strings that don’t have that issue?

Jacqueline DiBlasio says:

did it come already set up? with the strings altogether?

Mainuh says:

Alison, first let me say thank you for your incredible library of tutorials and information. I’m looking to buy and learn to play and I can’t believe the amount of info you’ve published! What a wonderful way to foster your craft. After watching several reviews, I think the CVN 300 or possibly 500 would  be a good start for me. And I looked but don’t  see any links. As an IT professional I would think you could easily connect with Amazon  and possibly other sellers so you could include a link in your reviews so you could get some small reward to help cover your costs and your valuable time  which you have so graciously given. I would gladly make my purchase through such a link or even make a donation via a donation link. Again, thanks for the fantastic videos and your contributions to promoting music and learning. All that bundled in such a pretty and fun to watch format!  Cheers!
