Ok, I have a question for you ( I have been watching your videos and looking up violins for hours now). For all of the Mendini MV violins, you have said that you would recommend changing the strings so for whichever Mendini MV violin, change the strings. You would also recommend the 400 over the 200 but the 200 over the 300? (If you even remember the 200 and 300 video, like I said, I watched a lot of your videos tonight.)

Also, do you have videos of the other violins in the same range as the MV 400? You mentioned in this video that you do have recommendations.

Thank you so much for your videos!!

Rel Productions says:

you look very beautiful alison 😀

Ashton Friedrich-Wilhelm Macklin says:

PLEASE DO CELLO!

Ben M says:

hello, i have used your GREAT 10 learning videos, up to the fourth anyway, i see mention of replacing strings in many places, i have played electric bass for many years and have had good luck with D’addario strings there, which i realize most likely wouldn’t transfer to violin, i do see you recommending dominant strings here, would that be an acceptable choice for any student level violin? Also thank you VERY much for taking the time to make the lesson videos, such a huge help for a completely new instrument.

Manuel Falconi says:

Excellent review, I guess I can buy it in the link’s description.

AWESOME BROOKE AND DIYS says:

1st one yeah

David M01 says:

Hi, What’s do you think about Thomann Classic Violinset (https://www.thomann.de/fr/thomann_violinset_44.htm). For the same price, Thomann have a good wood (ebony, carbon tailpiece…), factory setting and 3 years garantee.

Atraills Sanderson says:

Should I get the MV300 or MV400? I am going to put dominant strings on them, just I’m not sure which one would have a better tone.
I know you get asked these type of questions a lot, but any advice would be great 🙂

hailey hinds says:

so I used to play what kind of violin should I get

Bingo Bongo says:

hey Alison,
can you please tell me what is the best/quickest way to learn musical note?
those sings means nothing to me and it’s depressing,
thanks for help, have a lovely evening 🙂

Mauricio Cemin says:

Your videos are great! They are helping me a lot. Thank you:-)

ComaVigilOfficial says:

I want to start with learning how to play the violin or piano. What is harder to learn and is the electronic violin right for a beginner?

waffler69 says:

Well shit, I just fell in love.

B Brothers says:

Sorry for so many questions this is the final one please answer it as soon as possible because I want to buy my first violin as soon as possible on to the question: what is better the mendini mv300 or 400?

muppetonmeds says:

but yes if can have strings sound good should play good right?

Aro_Lyn.k says:

Her bow was about to hit the wall =)

Helios12そっ says:

What do you prefer? Cecilio CVN-300, Mendini MV-500 or Stentor II? PLEASE!

Christina Hamilton says:

I have a $400 violin, my level is nearing the ‘sinfonia level’ (hope I spelled that right) basically knowing third position and vibrato, would it be worth it to switch to a more expensive violin, or is this ok for my level?

rockstar212121 says:

I’m looking to buy my first one later this week and I’m currently split between the MV400 and the CVN100. What’s your opinion between these two? The only difference I see is that the MV comes with a second bow. Don’t know why but YT wont let me post the links from ebay.

KrugisaXD says:

6:24 i tought she would say “probably a total retard” XD

Brian's Tech Reviews says:

It’s not the violin its the player, simple.

Niko Uimi says:

I absolutely love your videos, they’re just perfect for self teaching. You make things so simple that even someone who is from Finland like me understands everything (or at least most of ) what you’re saying. Thank you a lot! 😀

Carlos Emiliano Castro says:

I need help

shery codoe says:

can you do fur elise

car7000 says:

so, MV400 or MV300? knowing that both need a new set of strings… I’d like to know which one should I get, please help D:

Sven Raveny says:

Could you name a few electrical violins that are good and in the 100-200€ range?

Marcus Leung says:

Hi Allison, as a complete beginner of violin (and also being my first instrument to learn ever), should I get the mv300 or the mv400? I don’t mind paying more for a violin with better sound quality but also don’t want to invest in too much of a fortune for something I just want to try out to see if I’m fine and determinded for it. Are those 2 violins really different from your point of view? Thanks. Looking forwards to your answer. 🙂
