Wes Hamby says:

How do they compare to Stentor violins?

bchill69 says:

I’d like to ask…would you say that the wood is too heavily varnished? Doesn’t that deaden the sound a bit??

Andres Esquivel says:

Whats the song you were playing in the start?

j bullets says:

Love your videos

hailey hinds says:

you got it on amazon

Edward Sevret says:

My uncle just gave me $100 and I was thinking about getting this its just everyone says it’s a waste because I need an actual teacher instead of videos. Do you think I could learn with videos or should I just wait for a teacher?

kamil abass says:

with this price( 100$) Can I get it in Iraq

Celine Eng says:

Have you heard of eurostring model 300?is it good?im planning to buy it.thanks.

mch12311969 says:

I don’t care for the color either, but it did have a decent sound.  This is a very useful video.

EaglehorseMusic says:

What happened to your auto-focus? Looks like it went a little wonky! Nice review though.

M. Baritono says:

Now, hold on a minute and all everything. The Stentor II is about $200, and the Cecilio CVN200 about $100, but yet they appear to be the same range in quality… How is this possible?

Aidan R. Fitzpatrick says:

How did a $100 violin come with a one piece back????

Annah Hinman says:

Omg …..how much lacquer on this

sam arthur says:

1:42 what song is that?

Fauzia Ali says:

Sorry it’s the Stentor Conservatoire 2!

Rajon Rondo says:

Hello! Great Videos Btw, i already watched a few dozen videos before even picking up a violin!

I was wondering what range of violin i should buy… I am willing to spend $100-$500. I have never played violin before, but i have done percussion for 7 years and piano for around 7 as well. I think i will like the violin so i am thinking about getting an intermediate violin instead of beginner. I found a brand new Stentor 1500 (2) outfit for ($144), a John Juzek 100 for ($379) and then a few intermediate/advanced ones that i cant decide upon. Which one should i choose? Thanks!

Commenter839 says:

This violin looks so pretty in my opinion… I would totally buy this for the looks, but I’m most likely gonna be getting the MV500 instead.

wtmc says:

this cheap looking violin (as you said) looks very nice when you are holding it!
even the red violin 100 !
you are making me wanna buy it!

Hunter Cuyler says:

Hi Alison!
I’m a 16 year-old violist from Ohio and I love your videos! You have been so helpful in giving me practice tips when my private teacher is unavailable. I’m about to start some private teaching of my own for beginner violin and viola, but I am trying to decide on a cheap violin to use as a loaner to students. My cello is a Cecilio CCO-100 and I have been pretty pleased with it. Based on price, I am currently looking at the CVN-200 and the CVN-EAS. Have you ever used the EAS model? It’s not very highly advertised, I accidentally stumbled upon it on Amazon. I love the dark finish and it has some good reviews online, but I’d prefer a more professional opinion. Can you please help me? Thank You!!!

Alex Trujillo says:

Do you think that YouTube warps the color? It seems ridiculous that it would look the way I see it.

Ryan.s says:

can tell weather its the violin or the microphone

ive got yes jams says:

im starting violin and i cant decide which to buy. cvn300 or stentor 2??

금혜성윤야 says:

I have no knowledge of violin but want to try to teach myself it by Youtube videos and books. Do you think this violin might be a good start for a violin dummy like me?

Alex Cuellar says:

Hello, I was wondering what violins are the best to get that are under £300 or $500? I have a viola that is quite expensive and have been playing for nearing 15 years now, so I wouldn’t consider myself a beginner. I want a quality violin to start but not something too expensive, any ideas?

Wilma Båskman says:

Does anyone know what the quality of Abertone violins are? Are they pure crap? I know that they are made in china but really i can’t find any other information online, so I hope anyone here knows.

Gabriel G says:

what d u think it better to beginner, this model, or the cv300, or mendini, thanks

Jose Christ says:

the violin is perfect and very amazing for this money, but I can assure you, there are many expensive handmade violins much more expensive and muc much worse!!!

Fauzia Ali says:

Hi, I love your videos they are such a great help! I was just wondering what do you think of the Stentor Conservative 2, what grade would that take me up to? Thanks in advance!

torielric says:

Well, getting a violin from eBay didn’t work out. I got some of my money back and got to keep my vso which will be a very nice room decoration. I would spend more money on better parts than I did on the violin, so now that my mom knows, she’s helping me get a better violin. I’ve done a ton of research and have decided that it’s safest (and more affordable) to get a cecilio violin online. I was looking into the cvn-eav violin. Do you know anything about that one?
The KK Music site says it has ebony fittings, spruce top, maple back and sides, and comes with an oblong case (with a lock?). Do you know about where that fits in with the cvn line?

aaron mcintyre says:

where’s the contests????

Muhammad Ghazanfar Abdullah says:

Considering the overall violin characteristics – how would CVN-200 compare with CVN-400 (just $20 price difference)?

Thank you.

monica plascencia says:

what about Mendini 4/4 MV300 Solid Wood Satin Antique Violin in amazon

Arkan the says:

What do you think about the 60$ or less chinesse violins on eBay? You think they’re good for an starter? For example i’ve won this one on an eBay auction: http://goo.gl/IuFMja. Also i would like to see a review of those non-branded chinnese violins so we all could know if they’re useful or not, thanks so much +The Online Piano and Violin Tutor  🙂
