A very nice playing trumpet is reviewed here; the Lynx by Cannonball Musical Instruments. The bell (lightweight) has a 4.8″ measurement, the bore is .459. The leadpipe, while listed tighter than most of their other pro trumpets, does not seem tight to me but does enable an easy upper register with a great feel – it’s feels great to me and does enable an easy upper register. This is the model played by the renowned Winston Byrd and it is a very cool horn. Enjoy and, as always, continued best wishes and blessings, Jonathan

Hi Jonathan, I always wondered how the Cannonball sounded and played. To my ears the Blessing was much fuller and smoother, though you are not comparing directly. Also you strained in the higher register. You had no such issue with the Blesing. Nice to hear the Cannonball in any case and I bet the $cost is more than the Blessing 3020 or 3037,not sure.
Your TF style MP combined with your playing and this trumpet seem to be a good match. Funny how no one MP seem to work for anyone when switching from horn to horn.
