The award winning Yamaha Montage 6 is one of the most powerful keyboard workstations available today, offering producers, live musicians and studio enthusiasts to have complete control over their songwriting and scoring projects.
The Yamaha Montage features 2 professional quality sound engines, an array of FX and a superb playing experience. The Motion Control Synthesis Engine within the Yamaha Montage 6 unifies and controls two iconic Sound Engines: AWM2 (high-quality waveform and synthesis) and FM-X (modern, pure Frequency Modulation synthesis.) both of these two engines can be freely zoned or layered across all parts in a Multi-Part Montage Performance.
In addition, you have 128 note polyphony to take full control of your workflow as well as a world of effects, 88-Algorithms, 7-Spectral Forms and 7” TFT Colour Touch Screen so you can make changes on the fly and sculpt your sound.
This raises the bar for keyboard workstations and allows songwriters, composers, keyboardists, sound designers, synth geeks and EDM producers to enjoy an entire studios worth of sounds and superior control over their workflow.

Can i use the montage 6 as a piano source via MIDI to an 88 Piano midi controller ?
Hey Gaz. I watched the Krome, Kronos and Montage vidoes. I understand what you say about comparing the Kronos vs the Montage. But, if you could simply describe what each was oriented towards? If possible? I like the Montage workstation features and I seemed to relate to it better than the Kronos just from the vidoes. I obviously need to work with both hands on. But I would appreciate your opinion as to what/whom each was best suited for, if possible. Thanks for the great/informative videos!
Korg Kronos better then montage
