Moog Emerson Modular Synthesizer System Review

Get the Moog Emerson Modular synth system here:

Daniel Fisher, Sweetwater’s maven of modular madness, gives a quick run-through of the Emerson Moog Modular synthesizer. Sweetwater is proud to be chosen to sell the final unit (third of three) that Moog Music will build of this historic synthesizer.

Because it was built using only ’60s-era technology and techniques, the Emerson Moog Modular doesn’t ring out with crystal-clear digital perfection. Subtle distortions and noise of every kind assault every note, and that is the secret of the clone’s success.

CrimSun says:

I seriously hope that not a single cent of these units go to Moog. This is a very expensive joke on top of exploiting the dead, cause I’m pretty sure Keith himself would not be okay with this product at all.

deroden says:

You would think that something that massive and complicated (and expensive) would create sounds that are so beyond a fixed architecture synth. But, based on the video, it really doesn’t. I can easily create sounds like this on my regular ole synths.

Harry Martin says:

So that’s what John Goodman’s up to now

Alberto Stoppelli says:

F A N T A S T I C ! ! !
Thanks for the video!!!

Brian Brill says:

Will the bank do a 30 year fixed on a synth?

Jose Chavez says:

Oh Big Brair.. Nothing innovative, just keep pumping out the status symbols. Sigh.

Sterling McVay says:

I’d like to see Mathew Bellamy get one and use it, of MUSE. Or me, if I could afford it. 😉

Don Solaris says:

I had that sloped cabinet i believe it was called 55 or something. I literally got it for a pack of beers in the late 90s. Unfortunately i later learned it was broken. It could only play one note at the time. So we eventually tossed it away, straight to junkyard area.

John Doe says:

Heaven is a giant omnipotent modular system that controls all forms of motion and consciousness with CV and gates.

yobhsiFehT says:

They’re discontinuing the Minimoog again, but they can put THIS out.?. -_- Moog, you’re drunk.
At around 5:30, this video does make me hope (perhaps vainly) that they might someday make a Minifooger Reverb, tho. *crosses fingers* 😉 😀
