AirtheteenMC says:

Last two sounded the same to me

Alessandro arnesy says:

neewer nw-800 win

crapcbm says:

SM7B

T Blank says:

That Sure SM58 sounded the worst by far out of all of them. It was hollowed out, tiny, and muddled. How can the reviewer listen to this and even think it has more clarity than the newer.

The other two did sound better than the newer, but only marginally so.

djilyaz says:

Sm7b is a broadcast standard, and works good for higher pitched male singers, like Michael Jackson and Phil Collins used the Shure sm7b alot for recording, and they had the $$ for any mic they wanted.

fluffPCgamer says:

BM800?

Daniel Haworth says:

It sounds like the $22 mic has like a 200hz low cut on it, the SM58 is in desperate need of a pop filter.

Irshad Taibani says:

NW-800 ROCKS

Hugo Stiglitz says:

Key factor, if you don’t have an audio interface, the cheap mic will sound like shit (I bet they all would though). And it also requires phantom power (otherwise it’s super quiet and sounds even worse)

Arjun Rajput says:

I wish I was not deaf.

BaDKiD OG says:

Now teach me how to mix and tell me what’s the program should I use on windows 10

ShamPayne Hossayne says:

i fucken luv how ya gotta bring candy into a lot of ur vids brother!

REDEX SUBZERO says:

second one is horrible it sound like u have ur hand or u covering it

Elaborate Press says:

nice idea for a comparison! I had to laugh when it came to end of your video because I just picked up the “cheapest” midnight blue from this series, MB 1k for under 40 and thought the sound was quite neutral and am happy with it, no offense 😀

orange grams says:

Hellooo READ THIS its useful!!

so pretty much guys, I once used the Samson Go mic which can connect directly into your computer. It was slightly better than that gold mic but a bit more expensive. However all of the mics shown in this video need to be connected to an audio interface which costs more money. Meanwhile the Samson Go mic I got was 65 dollars and connected into the computer directly and had pretty solid audio quality. Anyway, I don’t really use that mic anymore since the mic on my canon rebel ios T6 camera is honestly better imo.

So if you plan on getting a dslr camera then there is no need to get a mic unless you are an aspiring singer!

of course this is my own opinion so its up to you 🙂

DiffLord says:

I noticed the slightest difference

zZoKo says:

i hate that shru 58 so much god damn it, i get hurt inside evertime i hear it

ForsaOne فرصة وان says:

thanks !

wideband music tv administrator says:

Nice voice and track..

Dace Gamez says:

why do u have nail polish??? your not a girl

periurban says:

My ears must be dead, because I can barely tell the difference.

ITX Official says:

OMG, thank you sooo much for this comparison!! The Neewer pops up like on a daily basis in my Amazon suggestions, but I was always afraid to buy one because I thought it would sound crap for ~23$. Thanks to your review, I now know that it’s a lot better than I expected, and it absolutely suits my needs!!

Jackson Alan Hume says:

Jesus fucking lord why are your eyes so big?

Evergreen says:

You can take a RK87 capsule and put it ina MXL body for like $300 it’s the same mic for 1/10th the cost.

Jon's Tech Channel says:

TBH they sound all the same.

SladeBallard says:

I’m fairly surprised with the SM7B, I’d definitely prefer it over the U87 considering that ludicrous price, not that much of a difference.

To everyone else, use what you have, buy what you can afford right now. I know the internet seems like a scary place full of elitist assholes who’ll make fun of you for using cheap gear instead of that model that everyone likes, but to me (and most people, trust me) what’s really important is what you create with it. What’s the point of buying a 10000$ guitar set if you’re only gonna play AC/DC covers all day in your living room? I’d rather listen to a guy playing a 60$ guitar playing original songs.

Just create. Creativity is the only thing money can’t buy.

Hugo Stiglitz says:

I think you should’ve left the singing dry because by adding compression and reverb, you’re masking the differences between the mic’s a bit.

x_dead says:

22 dollar mic isn’t bad! *maybe i buy one*

Mind of a Killer says:

Is that description an ERB reference?

okami otoko says:

hey man … i am a novice pod caster/voice actor considering buying this as a starter mic and just wanted to say i love your voice! dude you are super talented … wish i had pipes like yours.  any way thanks of the review you really helped me make a choice

ANDREW HUANG says:

Definitely listen in headphones or with good speakers to hear the details of each mic the best! Any other gear you want me to compare?

SuppersReady8880 says:

Great review, well produced too. Nice tone/feel on your high/falsetto work too. For $100 you can still get into a decent condenser mic like an MXL V67G, 2006, or a Studio Projects B1. The SM58 is an awesome singing mic, the proximity effect when you get right up on it adds a lot of punch live for any kind of rock/pop/etc but for acoustic guitars, or vlogs or webcasts a condenser on a stand might be better. Love the SM7B too, the dynamic (not condenser) design is more forgiving on placement and room noise for live broadcast uses, but there are a bunch of decent condenser mics in that price range (say 200-500) for recording, with performance approaching the Neumann’s (to a point).

CrudeToons says:

I actually prefer the sound of the $22 mic
