Rowin Dumbler Amplifier Simulator Pedal Review

The Rowin LEF-315 Dumbler does a magnificent job of emulating the custom manufactured Dumble amp, a famed and incredibly rare amplifier that is highly sought after. The best thing about this boutique pedal is that unlike any similar counterparts, the Rowin LEF-315 Dumbler comes at a very affordable cost, so that any guitarist can take advantage of its awesome tone!

Sometimes i wonder if theses are Demos of a Product..or LOOK HOW FAST i CAN PLAY vids ?

bing bong says:

wow that is the dirtiest “clean” tone I’ve ever heard in a demo vid. Sounds great with the pedal, but have no idea what aspects of the final tone are the pedal and which are the amp…

TooSlowTube says:

Your “clean sound” (@1:43) is so far from clean, I have no idea what this pedal would sound like through an amp that was more or less clean.

A much fairer test would be just a DI and a direct recording.

I don’t normally criticise people’s product reviews, but this one is from an actual music shop. You’ve put an overdrive through an overdriven amp. What does that tell me about the pedal you’re demonstrating? Nothing useful.

Allows any of these pedals a slightly modulated pitch shift of 5% to be used as howl around stabilizer? – It, looks small and (stripped of its box etc.) might even fit into my Mini Demo unit to demonstrate my art of whistling to good music. Here’s what I what I need it for and do: http://cdbaby.com/cd/johanneskdrinda

Quit hating. Nice review.

Mark Emmerton says:

Are these the same as the Mooer Rumble Drive?

mavrim7 says:

I found myself loving the higher gain sound of this pedal. Saw another rowin pedal called gumble and an ammoon pedal that resembles the rowin gumble that is called rumble. I took a chance on getting the ammoon rumble for $21 on eBay with free epacket shipping. They say it has a rounded tone overdrive. Not sure if this is a dumble emulation or just an overdrive. I’ll try to do a review of the ammoon pedals. I have 6 on order at $20 each.
