Earthquaker Devices Data Corrupter Guitar Synth Pedal – Review & Demo

Sam from PMT Portsmouth puts the brand new EarthQuaker Devices Data Corrupter pedal to the test!

Check out the Data Corrupter pedal from EarthQuaker Devices over at PMT Online:

The newest pedal from the geniuses over at EarthQuaker Devices is ideal for fans of those 8 bit soundtracks from the gaming consoles of the 90s. This intense and completely unique pedal gives you some crazy 8-bit style synthesizer tones and adds a crushing square wave voice for extra power.

Whether you want fun sounding licks or doom laden octave synths, the Data Corrupter can handle it all.

The true bypass Data Corrupter is a Modulated Monophonic Phase-Locked Loop (or PLL) Harmoniser pedal that allows you to mix 3 different voices and even blend sounds like you would on the famous modulation synths via Glide (a smooth, portamento slide) and Vibrato (for a much faster oscillation).

You have a Master Oscillator control set as well as a Subharmonic assimilator (with Root Switch) to sculpt your perfect sound. It’s like playing the best modulation synth you’ve ever heard via your guitar.

The all analog signal path gives you that lush dynamic that responds beautifully to your playing!

Not a review, a good demo, but not a review.
