Why is this Guitar BANNED in the USA?? – Demo / Review

This guitar, and many others cannot legally be sold in the United States! Why?! Let’s find out (and also demo a really cool and unique guitar!)

But… you can buy them in Japan! Link Here: https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?icep_id=114&ipn=icep&toolid=20004&campid=5338291063&mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fitm%2FFERNANDES-RLC-85S-2011-SW-BURNY-Electric-Guitar-Snow-White-Fast-Ship-Japan-EMS-%2F153119104638

Diego2112Gaming says:

Hey Danzig, where can I buy one if it’s illegal in the USA? You said that one is an ebony fretboard? I’m pretty sure I can quote you on that.

(I’m sorry, I’m a terrible person, you forced my hand by putting a rubric I had to hit all the points on)

On a serious note, Ibanez ran afoul of that back in the ’70s, and the guitars they put out were actually way better than the Gibsons from the same timeperiod. Finding an Ibanez “Lawsuit Guitar” is worth more than gold for an investment (not by weight, obviously, but you know what I mean).

And I really am sorry about the opening of the comment, but come on, you KNOW someone is going to do exactly that if you say “Don’t do the thing.” It’s YouTube, bruh.

Jimmy Droid says:

It almost makes me want to go live in China. Those specks are awesome!

Bloodrose says:

I have an 80’s model Burny and it is an awesome guitar! It has a diamond logo on the headstock that is just a tiny bit different than what is on the Gibson LP Custom. The previous owner made it look identical with 2 tiny pieces of black electrical tape. The newer Burnys have that vine logo on the headstock. The only downside to mine is that it is very heavy. Otherwise, its amazing!

John Sandvik says:

Experienced one player in Thailand using a Burny, sounded great 🙂

peter sisco says:

Actually the best Bass guitar I’ve ever owned was an old Fernandez . It had an Active system in it but was like nothing I seen before in an Active system .
Now I do believe in trademark protections but there’s plenty of subtle changes that can be made to that guitar by Fernandez to make it it’s own identifiable brand and still keep the basic design recognizable, so to be honest I do only blame Fernandez for the fact that that awesome guitar is not sold here … or probably in some other countries to .

MZJ says:

i just checked the site…… the guitars are so freaking rad, sad there’s no LH models…

Grant Hutchins says:

You can’t buy it in the US because it’s a blatant a knock off. You might as well say, “Why can’t I buy a Japanese Shmac from Shmapple computer in the US? Sure it looks exactly like an iMac with the bite taken out of the left side of the apple in the logo. But just because it’s a Japanese knock off with a stolen design, so what? I’d go drive to the Shmapple Store in my Chinese made Fyord F151 Pickup in a heartbeat.” Hey, here’s a thought, why doesn’t Burny come up with their own design that doesn’t violate US trademark laws? It can’t be that hard.

Sidney Pendergrass says:

Guitar pedals for the beginer guitarist

Person Man says:

Fuck your dumb hair.

multiplexed says:

my guitar has a cigar box finnish

Dave Obrien says:

I really like this guitar but prefer an SG style with 24 frets and sustainer pick-up also. I’m not sure how to locate and purchase it. If they even make one. I only saw 22 fret necks.

Justin S. says:

Nice guitar! It has enough sustain to even satisfy someone who’s name is Gilmore !

Lucas González says:

That’s a Japson

John Davidson says:

So its a knock off of another company’s guitar.

Daniel Mims says:

Similar story to the matsomoku guitars from Japan .

ΣLECTЯ0N says:

& as a Follow-up, I’m really more into Amps…I have a original 1969 Fender Pink Paisley Telecaster & 1967 Gibson Flying V, 1996 Fender Richie Sambora Stratocaster (Olympic White), 1997 Jackson Professional Randy Rhoads RR3 Flying V (even though it looks more like a flying checkmark LOL). I have some other telecasters, strats & other shit too… I’d really like to see something like a comparison between the Fender Blues Junior & the Bugera V22…

Mr. Numi Who says:

Rick Grey says:

Fuck Gibson and his highest costs with low quality products!, let’s Les Paul in Japan

Iahel Cathartes Aura says:

Wow I loved it immediately. So crystal clear… what amp are you using (if that’s not a foolish Q)?
Subscribed.

This looks like a white version of my amazing old Hondo II Gibson copy (w dimarzio HB pickups) from the 70s.

Shawn Chickowski says:

I love it! Beautiful

Butt Head says:

Kinda looks like the badguy from Kindergarten Cop.

gonzosc1 says:

I always wanted a “Killer” guitar from Japan. got hooked on “loudness” in the 80’s and loved the sound of those guitars.

garrisounds says:

My favourite guitars that I play over my Boutique maker Tom Anderson are early 90s JAPANESE made Charvel Tele and Strat styles and they are BURNING SHREDDING beauties and I am even selling my TA even though I was a TA artist for 10 years. That’s how great they play and sound.

Stephen Canas says:

Would Berny rlc35s be available through a online company similar to Wish which gets it’s stuff from overseas , Orient , Japan, China?
