Great video. Thag was really helpful. Thank you so much. Question: of the four guitars, which would be the best choice for a beginner on electric? I’m really attracted to the SG. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.

so looking for advice.

i used to play the uke and thee banjo and understood how to play a guitar just never properly learned. well now i have a shoulder injury, causes some nerve issues with my left hand. basically my last two fingers dont always want to cooperate and sometimes just move together and twitch. should i try and learn with 2 good fingers and just learn to use a 3rd incase my nerve issues get worse or learn to play lefty instead and strum with the bad hand?

and any exercises besides playing the can help build finger strength?

hi rob, I am Aparajit BARMAN (easier to pronounce). I picked my 1st acoustic when I was  in 6th grade.but I always had passion for any stringed guide to beginners is wonderful. I am a self taught guitarist. its Been 11 years since I totally switched to electric guitar.  but I am a doctor and it takes most of my time. however, i try and practice when I get time. I recently tried to learning to read musical  notations. but that guy left me in between of our classes. my question is , I have done a quite a bit of music study’s harmonics and other effects and tricks. please tell me with my skill set and being a doctor how to speed up my solos (I am hard core metal fan…70s,80s,few of 90s and very few new age metal).? and also please help me with the alternate picking. I have AXL series, cost gt200LP and 1 Yamaha . I have kept a classical ,an acoustic  too. in pedals I have vox and zoom 606.recently I purchased the 40 w blackstar.

And the same question for amp

jabluebeetle says:

But here’s the thing why do other guitars have more of those nobs in the body like 4 of them

An Alien says:

I have this huge speaker that you can plug a guitar into, could I use it instead of an amplifier?

ComputerGenerated says:

Here’s a HUGE tip for beginners, avoid sheet music and even learning the notes, just learn the frets for the first week you are learning, find a song with a nice sounding but fairly simple riff and learn how to play it, (I recommend Rock n’ Roller by Kaleo or Carry on Wayward Son by Kansas but is not required) doing this will give you the satisfaction and confidence you need to continue and it’s much better than going to some lessons place where they’ll have you play Hot Cross Buns over and over. After doing this then you can go to a lessons place.

Aaron Clements Currier says:

I think it would be important to say that different picks offer a different tone. Some bright and treble and some mellow, more appropriate for jazz.
