In this video I am playing on a TAMA Silverstar Custom 5-piece Drum Kit. TAMA Silverstar drums are designed to give a vintage look and feel with upgraded features that bring you well into the modern age. This package brings you 100% all Birch drums in a beautiful Transparent Red Burst finish. Add to that some of TAMA’s Roadpro series hardware and you are ready to rock!
Other then sticks, cymbals, and a drum throne you get everything you need at an affordable price. You get 8″ x 10″ and 9″ x 12″ rack toms, a 14″ x 16″ floor tom, a powerful 18″ x 22″ kick drum, and a matching 5″ x 14″ snare drum. As you would expect from Birch, this TAMA Silverstar kit brings big rich tone and presence.
Along with the drums comes some great TAMA Roadpro hardware. A boom stand, straight stand, Hi-hat stand, snare stand, and a Iron Cobra Jr. Pedal all come with this drum kit. The Star-Mount System on the rack toms and Low-Mass lugs bring beautiful resonance to the drums. A really nice hardware feature of these drums is the slidable tom holder. You can move rack toms forward or backward up to 50mm by loosening just one bolt. It is a very convenient way to get your toms in just the right place.
This is indeed a very cool drum set at a very nice price. Thanks for watching!

Such A talented Man ,Now selling drums.Does not make sense.
ehhhhh… I don’t know about “beefy low end” on birch I mean that is a VERY bright sounding wood, lets face it if you want low end birch is NOT the way to go, but i mean if you like Bright vibrant drums hey this might be the kit for you.
great drum solo,,,,, very pro ,,,,
Hello Sweetwater! Thank you for your amazing reviews 🙂 But there is a kit on the market that wants itself reviewd as well,it is the Tama Superstar Hyperdrive Maple… It is really hard to find some decent reviews with this one,so can you please help all of us,drummers? Thank you 🙂
Restock
do we get the hit hat with it?
Tony Danza selling drums…
It’s actually very hard to change heads, the mounts have to come off as well, and they cover up the tension rods so you aren’t able to finger tighten.
I seriously can not stand this guy. His explanation of hardware features and inclusions are incorrect a lot of times and it seems he struggles for words. If I was an inexperienced player and not as familiar with different brands as I am, there’s no way I’d buy a kit based on this video presentation.
Anything good for country
this dude’s a damn good drummer! not gonna lie!
@ blica1, relax man. I’m not criticizing him as a person or his playing ability….. But rather his presentation skills. I’ve watched more recent videos and it’s much improved but this one left a lot to be desired.
is this kit better then the yamaha stage custom
What heads was he using? Tuning?
tama i great and sweetwater has reviewed every tama kit except one tama superstar maple hyperdrives.
they are one of the best as well. we would like to see review of that kit. its a reuqest
I’m having so much trouble with the rim style Tom holders. That’s what the big problem is with changing heads. But of course the sound is great.
any drums he demo is like almost the same sound. . because he tune it the way he likes, dont like this demo. .
Loved the flying drum key at 5:13
