Tama Imperialstar 4-piece Drum Kit Review – Sweetwater Sound

Get this Imperialstar 4-piece kit here: http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/IP42GCCPM

In this video I am playing on a Tama Imperialstar 4-piece Drum Kit in a Vintage Red finish. You may think that because this drum set package is geared towards the beginner player, that it may not be of good quality. I can tell you with confidence that this Tama Imperialstar is indeed a quality product that sounds great! You get everything you need, other then a pair of drum sticks, to start making music.

The drums are made from Poplar. Poplar wood has been used in making drum shells for over 50 years. These drums have a full, warm tone, combined with medium attack. You get a 9″ x 12″ rack tom, a 14″ x 16″ floor tom, a big sounding 18″ x 22″ kick drum, and a 5″ x 14″ snare drum.

The drum package also comes with STAGE MASTER Hardware Stands and a set of Meinl HCS cymbals. Just get yourself a pair of sticks and start rocking!

The four piece kit is as important to the birth of rock and roll music as the electric guitar.

Great sounding drum set.

Lucas Rivera says:

I just wish Pearl could do something like this with their Roadshow series. I already am aware of the 4-piece bop kit, but they should make a 4-piece Roadshow kit that has a 12 inch rack tom, 14 inch floor tom, 20 inch kick drum, and a 14×5 snare.

Eron Manabat says:

Is it in US dollars?

JAldwin says:

12 lugs (6+6) on that 16″ floor tom. Sounds amazing, with plenty of initial attack. I’m surprised that isn’t seen more often.
