Nick D’Virgilio presents the DW Performance Series Satin Oil drums. Delivering unbelievable resonance and projection thanks to DW’s proprietary HVX shell, Performance Series drums provide you with great sound at a real-world price. Built from a blend of eight plies of hand-selected North American hard rock maple, they dole out solid, thunderous punch. On top of that, you get a scaled-down version of DW’s trademark turret lug, as well as onboard True-Pitch tuning and 45-degree back-cut bearing edges.

RIGHT ON DW!!! 😉
Nick is killing it as always, in my opinion, one of the best drummers on youtube, very inspiring and insightful reviews. Quick question, is there any way to buy or get access to the backing tracks used in the drums reviews? They are very diverse and good sounding, perfect to practice different genres at home! Thank you!
Really love the new drum vid format, Nick! playin w a track, and new room, etc.
I love the way Mr Nick can burn without a lot of drums. Awesomeness!
can I please get a full version of that intro track???
Nick, never mind the drum set, you are a monster behind the kit
DW has a weird definition of affordable….the kick 700+ and a three shell pack and snare for 1300+, not really affordable. if you need hardware and cymbals and throne you are now reaching the 4000-5000 range….DW is not all that, yes they aound good but c’mon with those prices, no wonder most of us buy the china made kits for a 1/4 the price of a DW. when I win the lotto I will buy one.
Mr. D’Virgilio….you can definitely rock the skins brother!!! I love the videos just to hear you jamming!!
This channel is growing in the right direction… Nick and the older dude rock!
Song name NIck!
awesome drumming. nick is super tasteful
Very glad to see coated heads. I don’t like the dw/remo heads.
Sounds good to me.
Yo Nick how do you prefer to tune drums?? All the kits you play sound awesome
That was the best into I’ve ever heard
Could you do a review of the Gretsch Catalina Club Rock 4-Piece kit?
My 700 buck chinese kit sounds far better than this.
does anyone know what type of paiste cymbals he’s playing?
Great drumming.
All drums sound great, when Nick plays them.
A marketing dream.
Man, those cymbals.. That’s why i’ve used Paiste for many years..
Simply superb sounding cymbals..
