JD Daniels says:

Thank you for supporting my thoughts on basses to buy because I’ve learned the hard way that a good musician can take inexpensive bass and make it sound expensive but an expensive bass cannot make beginner musician sound experienced…
My bass of choice is Lakland 5 String

De Falco says:

I recently picked up a Squier Classic Vibe 70s P bass. $399. Looks, sounds and plays great. I honestly prefer it to my American Fender Jazz bass. Great all around.

Mowac says:

I love my vintage modified Squier,……maple body, neck, and decent duncan design pickups.

4 Deuce says:

I gig with Squier basses. Sounds great, plays great.

Charles Brown says:

I like this bass, ordered it today.

bobbmodels says:

I have two high end boutique basses but I had the same experience with a Squier. I used to kill time at a music store while waiting to pick up my wife from work. Always went to this particular bass…a Vintage Modified Squier Precision kind of mustardy color that had been on the wall for a couple years. Felt good, sounded great…after a few weeks I just bought it. I guess it was waiting for me.

Tony BP says:

What is that thing that’s wrapped before the headstock, what’s it for?

Makumbo Lindo says:

Very well described, that´s the way, you have to use what you like most and what you feel better to play

Richard B. Davis says:

You’ve been axed ???????

abdi soewoto says:

It is not the instrument, it is the player….

Clyde R Taylor says:

I love my p bass made by fender squier it sounds great and I have it set up for whatever I want to do

mmartinez1378 says:

Jermaine thanks for the video, very informative, I appreciate you taking the time to lay it out for us bass players that actually care about the specs and the opinion of other bass players. Keep up the awesome videos. God bless.

Home One says:

I have a Squier VM 70s jazz. I have played Fenders and other J and P copies and considered changing my Squier up…but then I never do. If anything I may go to a Squier VM Precision if they sound and feel as good as my VM jazz does

Adam Corbin says:

I wish I saw this video like 4 basses and houndreds of dollars ago lol

jrock 1975 says:

them Squier P pick ups are crazy good I did buy P and J and put the the Geezer EMG pick ups in it because of the humming of the J pick up but I should have just turned the dam thing down great video

Steven Bridgewater says:

I just got a squire vintage modified fretless, I fell in love as soon as I saw it in the store.

Ken Mandu says:

What exactly is this? A search for “Squire Jaguar Bass” returns several types, one of which is a short scale. Is that what this one is? Looks short to me, but all I play is guitar.

Jim G says:

bought the jaguar short scale, approx $175. good out of the box. but after Dimarzio pickups and Bartolini preamp with controls. WOW !!!!! Love my Squire !

carlos hudson says:

i have the same bass non active i love it. it can hit a lot of classic bass sounds.

Bill Hudson says:

Why Squier? Because you prefer quantity over quality. Same guys that own a dozen or more instruments when all along they dream of a custom shop

Autismo Skeletino says:

I mean the only issue I find with squier is their hardware isn’t that good but that don’t matter seeing how Gibson is doing

Kirby Nils says:

Hey Jermaine. nice video thanks. I’ve considered one of these but the complaint I have heard is that the pickups are low output. do you find that to be true ?

SentinelsHXC says:

Bravo man,. Thanks for the unbiased review. I thing most players go off what they see people playing. I know budgets are always a factor, but I feel like the bass is what you make it. Cheers man.
