Orange O Electric Bass review

Check out the Orange O Electric Bass Guitar here

With its sights firmly set on the simple beauty of a retro bass experience, the Orange O Electric Bass Guitar harks back to the birth of rock’n’roll. Although minimalistic, this exceptional bass is capable of producing some thunderous, harmonically-rich growls and feels incredibly comfortable whilst doing it too.

The cool and contoured body of the O bass is crafted using a lightweight and resonant Okoumé which is then topped off with a beautiful basswood veneer. The combination of these woods not only provide exceptional comfort, but also help nurture a harmonically rich soundboard onto which the electronics can be put to work.

The neck of the O Bass is made using maple and given a medium-vintage profile that nods its head to vintage basses but also maintains a more modern level of comfort for all players. This is then garnished with a rosewood fretboard containing 19 medium-jumbo frets and white dot position inlays.

The Orange O Electric Bass Guitar looks amazing, but what about the sound? Well in short, it’s spectacular. The inclusion of an orange custom-wound, split humbucker in the middle position delivers a massive range of tone. Heavy yet precise thunder or more growl than a mountain bear can all be achieved by adjusting the master tone control, whilst a single volume control can give you dynamic control with ease.

Orange is a name that guitarists of all variety’s all over the world recognise as a brand that consistently produce gear that’s always exceeds expectation and the Orange O bass is certainly no exception. Included with this stunning instrument is an alternate colour 3-ply pickguard so you can swap and change as you see fit!

Finally, a thick padded Orange gigbag with printed Orange crest is also included to keep this stunning bass looking at its best for longer making this a superb package for players (or non-players) of all skill levels to enjoy for years.
