Chris. Love your reviews. I have been a Taylor fan for years. I love Bob and Andy’s quest to never rest on their past success by innovation quality and creating the Taylor sound. Having said that I was somewhat disappointed in Andy’s claims on the v braced guitars. I played a 914 and a 914 V Braced at the Roadshow. The 914 was fuller and louder while the v braced was what I call an enhanced Taylor sound. The intonation and sustain was definitely improved but it did not project like Andy claimed. Both are great guitars but I wondered if you have noticed the same thing when playing them. Btw I’ve played several since then and it was pretty consistent across the board.
