Trombonology Erstwhile says:

Nice!  Another excellent demonstration by Mr. DePrato.

Earl Sullivan says:

Lovely..I bought one and I love it..

Filip Dinev says:

That really sounded well balanced! Rich tone!

Tim Hanson says:

i actually was in the market for a J-45 when the shop owner had me do a true “blindfold test” of two guitars.
i went at each one for about 15 minutes going thru each music style, and discipline, from flat strumming to
hybrid picking, to fingerstyle…… that was over a year ago, and i’m still in love with my “Eastman E10SS” ..
the extra $1000. saved went into a new SG … 🙂

donotgothere says:

Nice playing.
I do have to say, the Recording King RAJ-126SN does “this sound” substantially better. Also costs a good deal less. I own one and wouldn’t trade it even for the Eastman. It’s all about the sound. The RK’s got it.

James Holsinger says:

All the Chinese guitars have about the same sound to me!!!!

Preacher At Arrakeen says:

I’ve played a few Eastmans now, and each one had some kind of issue, unfortunately. I owned a E10D with a less than responsive truss rod. The neck relief was ok when I sold it, but who knows in 10 years? I tried one of these, the E20SS, and while it is a beautiful guitar, the frets were high, and moving up the neck felt like my fingers falling down stairs. A friend who is a luthier said it could only be mitigated with a whole fret job. Nope. I had a similar experience with a AC-422, except in addition to the high frets, the neck angle was low. I am sure there are excellent exemplars of these guitars out there, they just haven’t passed my hands.

aquaboneus says:

This particular guitar sounds very nice.

Donky Kong says:

Try the Sigma JM-SG-45 which is half the price again !

John Geddes says:

Its confusing when random chords declare war on each other?

Roy Lay says:

I’m waiting for my Larrivee D-03R to get here, but I have to admit, for about the same price, these guitars give it a run for the money! Never thought I’d say that about any guitar. I thought I’d found The One. This sounds like it has some serious breaking in to do, though.
