Leading the parade is one of America’s finest guitarists, Warren Haynes. Warren’s long career has seen him collaborate with so many top musicians, most recently with his fine band Gov’t Mule.
We also catch up with the master Blues guitarist Walter Trout whose inspiring personal story and Blues mastery deserves every guitarist’s attention!
Underpinning both of our interviews is the Blues and if that’s the style you want to master, make sure you don’t miss Michael Casswell’s Blues workout in this issue – it’s guaranteed inspiration!
All this, plus our usual blend of reviews, columns and this issue’s chance to win seven of Seymour Duncan’s fantastic FX pedals – one lucky reader is going to have a lot of fun with them this summer!

I should love this guitar because I like so much all the individual parts. But the sum of all the parts isn’t for me I guess. Oh well.
great sounding guitar.
Beautiful guitar, but reasonably priced? Really? 3-5000 USD$? Who drops that kind of cash on an acoustic? If mine was that expensive i’d probably put it in a museum, not in a gig bag.
Good review. Where is the battery, and what type?
Great review!
I’ve got this guitar in Blackwood back and sides. Beautiful tones!
can somebody tell me The Woods used in The body and neck.

This is how a guitar review should be done! Wonderful guitar! On my want list..
is there anywhere in England where I can try it out?
I’m Australian and local guitar shops have a great selection of Cole Clark guitars. I own a Martin but I think some of .these Cole Clark’s are the best acoustics I have ever played. The quality is outstanding and the tones are beautifully balanced.
Great review! Though I would’ve liked to hear a change in chords as you showed the mic variations, as open chords and bar chords would need to be heard alongside each other.
I’m looking at purchasing the Aud Blackwood soon.
